Journey to Beekeeping Courses
Join our introductory beekeeping class tailored for beginners with no prior experience! Dive into the fundamentals, discovering the significance of honeybees, their life cycle, and the essential equipment for initiating your own hive.
Explore hive components, beekeeping safety measures, and the crucial role of beekeepers in fostering robust colonies. Plus, indulge in delightful honey-based snacks to sweeten your learning experience!

This intermediate-level class is intended for students who have completed Level 1 and for beekeepers who have some experience with managing beehives. Participants will delve deeper into the intricacies of beekeeping, focusing on colony management, disease prevention, and honey production.
Topics covered may include swarm control, honey extraction methods, and integrated pest management. Participants will gain a better understanding of hive dynamics and learn practical techniques for maintaining healthy and productive colonies.
Hands-on activities may include comb inspections and honey extraction techniques.

This advanced class takes beekeepers into the field, providing hands-on experience working with live hives and bees. Participants will have the opportunity to apply their knowledge in a practical setting, under the guidance of experienced instructors.
The class will cover advanced beekeeping techniques, hive manipulation, and seasonal management strategies. Participants will gain insights into hive health assessments, disease diagnosis, and treatment options. Additionally, they will learn how to identify and respond to various challenges faced by beekeepers.
The majority of the class will be spent working directly with hives, conducting inspections, and practicing swarm management. This immersive experience will enhance the participants’ confidence and proficiency in beekeeping, preparing them for independent hive management.
